Stitchin' Again

So what does my father decide he wants for Christmas? A knitted tie, that's what. Eww. But on a happy note, I finished my friend Lauren's hat, a crocheted rose and coffee beanie. My friend Shay's scarf is almost finished and ready to be shipped off to Canada, but my own sweater is still on hold. My boyfriend is obsessed with the new World of Warcraft that's coming out, and I'm obsessed with finding a decent tie pattern that I don't have to buy. ^.^ Two more people at my work have learned to knit, though. We shall expand, mwahahaha, and the world shall never be cold again when we are through!!

My Very First Blog Post

Well, isn't this exciting? I have my very first blog. My name's Jenn, but I've been nicknamed "Butterfly" by my boyfriend because of the way I cocoon in a blanket. ^.^ I currently live in Moscow, Idaho, where I'm studying classics. For years I've been crocheting, but just in the past few weeks I've learned how to knit. It's quite the growing trend to knit here, and I've already made a scarf and two hats. My current work in progress is a grey wool pullover for my dance class. Blah, could I put any more random information in a first post?? :p
